Tips & Tricks

A few tips and tricks to help keep your day to day operations moving swiftly and efficiently:

  • Keeping an organized office and work place is essential. Making sure all papers are continuously filed will ensure records are kept organized in the proper folders according to date. If you don’t keep accurate daily records, you won’t have an accurate way to track the financial condition of your business.
  • Take time to read through your daily mail. This will ensure invoicing and bills are paid on time and in full each month to avoid those nasty late charges!
  • Handle and review cheques with care. It is easy to switch into auto pilot when handling and signing cheques. However, it is import to carefully and thoughtfully review the items that pass over your desk to avoid mistakes and accidental transactions. When signing it is also important to have a clear distinctive signature that does not invite a threat or open opportunity of forgery.
